how do i date lt50 4 stroke please

i bought it the other day and it is a bit tatty so was gonna buy new plastics as my sons cant wait to get on it but its all sold by year and as i dont know the year of mine i cant buy them i put the vin into google but nothing comes up an help would be greatly appreciated thanks matt.
