Hi, I took my quad out on some trails yesterday. today when i took it off the trailer i went for a little spin maybe half of a mile then it died on me and it starts and stays running but it wont let me hit the gas at all it is a 2002 suzuki king quad and it used mostly on our pecan orchard so we use it almost everday can anybody tell me where to start?

This sounds similar to what was going on with my 2004 LTZ-250 quad sport.It sounds to me like the problem is in the carburetor and your jet or jets are clogged.It maybe your starter jet that's clogged or the starter jet passage also could be clogged.Have a mechanic or someone check it out for you.
