Hello I am new on here and joined to see if anyone could help. I have a problem starting my Honda TRX300. Its intermittent so I am not sure what is going on. Sometimes when you turn the key and push the start button, nothing happens, totally dead, no lights on the dash nothing yet it starts fine from kick start. Problem is being a woman I don't have the strength to kick start it, especially from cold and got a bit stuck yesterday in the middle of a field with a full tank of spray on the back! Have checked obvious things, the battery is a year old and have checked its fully charged. Battery connections seem ok.
I am wondering if its actually the starter button rather than the ignition as it always starts from kick start.
Not sure of the age of the quad either - is there anyway of finding out from a serial number?
