Well I got an lt230 from a buddy of mine tonight for free. It has been sitting for five years. I got it started and evrything sounds good. I just want to know how to change the oil. And how much it takes. I also want to know where the dipstick is or how you check it. There is a fill plug but i think thats for the gearbox. So that plug on the side that you open you can see clutch packs under it. im sure that means the oil is low but I thought it was two seperate things for gears and engine oil. What kind of oil goes in there? Do you know? Any Idea? Is the oil filter behind those three bolts on the side cover?
