Hey I have a 2004 sportsman 600 twin and on the weekend I was riding and turning the handle bars back and forth to fish tail in the dirt and when I stopped the quad stalled and it won't start back up. I turn the key and the display turns on bu there is no ignition. Just a click. The battery is fully charged but I don't know wats wrong. I'm fairly new to atvs

First of all if your automatic transmission stalled then your clutch is after exploding and it is a costly repair; although this is possible (happened to dad's kvf) I wouldn't bet much money on it. Check your kill switch to ensure it is in the run position. It is possible that you accidently hit it when you were playing. Also how do you know your battery is fully charged? Your display uses a lot less energy then the bikes starter so just because the display lights up, does not mean that the battery is fully charged. If still nothing then either your starter is shot or you got a bad wire.

That is true, I think he did hit the kill by mistake and doesn't realize it, it happens! or again like demon rider said it might be your starter wire that got disconnected when you were fish tailing.Follow the wires to your starter and check to see if everything is O.K.

i would take out the starter and try it directly to a battery and if it don't work then your starter might be junk
