too lean or too rich

03 ltz has an athena big bore kit, yoshi full pipe, k&n air filter, no lid on air box, and a 1000 over big gun rev limiter. My bike idles fine and the throttle response is crisp with the pilot screw out 5 1/4 to 5 1/2 turns. However when I give it throttle there is a lot of popping and flames coming out the exhaust. AM I RUNNING TOO RICH OR TOO LEAN?

It seems rich try to readjust the a/f screw. You can also check it if the plugs are black or whitish or reddish

black- rich
whitish- lean
reddish0 just right.
