2000 Yamaha Warrior

I'm new to the quad scene, and came across a 2000 Yamaha warrior for a couple hundred bucks. The motor runs strong, but the issue I'm having is it does not shift into neutral and will not shift up when you try riding it. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

If there is like a griding sound when you are not in reverse make sure the lever on the side is all the way forward. I also had trouble putting my warrior into neutral. Next time turn it off with the off/run switch and then try putting it neutral. It worked for me it might work for you.
