why is my 300ex spitting out 2 foot flames outa the exhaust?

My question to you is does it have a after market pipe . If so make sue it is jetted right I'm pretty sure when it does that ethier you have the spark arEster Out or the aftermarket pipe deal...... If u find out the problem I would like to knoow :confused:

Check the a/f ratio it might be rich, also check the timing of the engine.
