Looking for a quad HELP NEEDED!!!

Hi im looking to purchase my first quad but i do not know what to get yet. Friends are telling me to go with a honda 400 but i dont know why i wouldnt just get a 450. Im looking to get a used quad under about 2500 or so dollors. Please tell me some makes and models of some quads you think would be good for me. If its needed at all im 6 foot 3 190 pounds. Hi Adam, and yes your height & weight does help me out a lot.It is pretty difficult trying to decide which quad to get I've there before many times so I know how it is...the most important thing is knowledge on what your buying.If you decide on the Honda 400ex or 450r then I can help you out because I just bought a 2009 450r and a 2004 Suzuki LTZ-250 quadsport.The Honda 450r is a really excellent quad and the suspension,speed & handling is really good and trust me a Honda will last you for years if you take good care of it or any quad for that matter.I have several other quads that I have but the best of the bunch is the 2008 yfz450 awesome quad! The speed on this quad is crazy fast & the suspension is the best thing fully stock the only thing that I had to get to make it better was a steering stabilizer cause the steering was harsh stock.What kind of riding are you looking to do? track or trail? or both?
