Hey Matt, if your planning on putting in power for racing the next thing you need is a new clutch, breaks, and a jet kit and you also may need good hole shot tires. The option on tires is open to what type of racing your doing. As to what type of jet kit? it depends....me I prefer the (Dyno jet kit) it has worked awesome for all my quads in the past & present. You should check with your dealer on what type of jet kit to get and also good luck on your racing when you get back;) .

Your welcome, anytime I know the answer I'm always happy to help out.As for the tires I would try to get Maxxi Razr or ITP holeshot tires which come in 2ply,4ply and 6ply ratings.Since your gonna be using them at the track I would say to use between 2ply to 4ply rating cause they are a lighter, better at cornering and have a better bite on loose dirt. When I race I use the 4-ply ITP Hloeshot tires on my Honda 450r their really lite over jumps and they have good bite on starts and cornering.I have a yfz450 that I use for just reg riding and fun and I have Maxxi Razr 4-ply tires on it and their pretty awesome over jumps and everything the road & track can throw at it.Bottom line I would go with 4-ply.

Hey, Just throwing my 2 cents in on the tires. I like Maxxis Razrs on the back. I find these tires good because they bite into the dirt real good but still let you slide around. People who have used the RAZR 2s say there is nothing better but your lookin at an extra $100 a tire when the RAZR ones already do a perfect job (in my oppion). Please note that the high price tag has kept me away from the twos so I real can't comment too much on that tire. As for the ITP holeshots I have had friends the run them and they like them a lot. The thing I don't like about these tires is that they are made of a softer rubber so they will wear faster then the razrs plus the treads seem more flimsy and I've sceen tires missing some of the treads weather you belive it or not. As for up front I like Kenda Front Max. Their treads only run front to back like a tractor tire. They hook up amazingly for turning and don't wear overly fast. As for price they run real cheap...only about 50 bucks a tire depending on where you get them. Ply, as you are staying on the track you will be plenty safe with 2 or 4 ply. As for everything else yfzgirl seems to have hit the nail on the head as always. Have fun
