Hi there quaders iam new to the forum an new to quading.
ive wanted a quad for years an now am finally getting round to it. but before i part with my hard earned cash i fort i would join a forum an get advice from some guys/girls with experiance. am not planning to do much off roading if any, and i dont have wabs of cash. so something nice an cheap. at least for now until i decide i really want to get into it. i found one that seem to be of a reasonable price i just wanted to know yours thoughts. i will post the link to the site any comments or advice would be great thanks.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. You said that your new to quads so try to get something like a Honda 250ex or a Can Am DS 250 "used" like you said. This way you have forward, neutral, and reverse so it's easy for you to get used to.And an automatic is so much easier to throw around than a manual. There's some good deals out there right now for new & used quads so you have an advantage to get exactly what your pocket can afford.Remember once you grow out of it you can always sell it and get a better one in the future;) .

thanks for the reply, after reading a few other posts, av decided to look for somthing between 300 an 660, am new to quads but by no means new to speed an after talking to a few dealers they have convinced me that i would get bord with anything less, me being 6ft to add to aquasion. so a raptor or kawasaki i think. that way if i do decide its not for me it would a lot easyer on the resell. thanks for your help all the same

6 ft. Well that's a big difference now:) ! Yeah, I think a KFX 700 and anything around that will suit you fine.As long as it's an automatic with reverse and 700 or 800cc should be just about right for you to have a good time riding on trails or just riding around.Like I said their are some damn good deals out there, you just have to shop around & do a little haggling and bargaining and you'll end up getting a really sweet deal, I'm sure you know what to do ;) when you find that perfect quad that catches you eye.Let me know what you bought, o.k.?

So you like the Raptor 350! Good for you as long as your comfortable with it and your having fun that's all that matters. What year is it? and did you get a good deal on it? As far as the psi in the tires, you should have the manual that should tell you how much you need because all quads are different sizes with different size tires. What kind of tires do you have itp, maxxi,Dunlop, etc.?

Yeah, man Kawi dealers are not good on bringing them prices down, like Honda & Yamaha their pretty good if you keep hagling with them. Can Am & KTM are also really hard on bringing down their prices to.This is bad time for dealers to be greedy with their customers.
