Hey guys,

Thought this was the right place to come as you all seem to know a lot about quads.

Iv got a an ''arctic cat 300 4×4'' which needs jump started (long story) anway can someone tell me where the spark plugs go on the quad to jump start it. I'm not very knowledgeable about this so if you could explain it in as much detail as possible.

Hope to stick around here for a while and learn more,
Thanks in advance

I'm not quite sure what you mean. First why does it need to be jump started and to make sure we are on the same page what do you mean by jump starting? The reason I ask this is because you ask where the spark plugs go. I think you must have something confused somewhere as spark plugs MUST be on the quad (your owners manual will show you the location). To be brutally honost if you don't know what spark plugs do or for some reason think your bike will start without them then maybe you should get your dealer to do the work for you. In the mean time if you are really interested in doing it yourself your gona have to explain your version of jump starting and what you mean by where the plugs have to go.

You need to plug the cables of the jump starter kit to your battery, on the battery there is negative- & positive+ on you jump starter you have red plug for positive + & and the black plug is negative-.Now plug your jump starter cables to your battery matching them up with negative to negative & positive to positive.PLEASE! don't mix these wires up or will get the shock of your life!lol if you have any problems don't hesitate to ask.

Your spark plugs have nothing to do with the bike not starting if you just have to "jump start" the bike. Im assuming that by jump starting you mean "push start" by pushing the bike while holding the clutch, then dumping the clutch to start the quad. Not to be mean dude, but if your asking about where the plugs are you should problably take it to a shop. If using the starter isn't starting the quad, most likely your starter is fried or you need a new battery. Thats my advice but don't 100% rely on it lol.

I've got to agree with maniac here. If you don't know where your spark plugs are or how to find them yourself; YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO WORK ON THIS BIKE! Not to be mean but just looking out for you and your ride. Take her to someone who knows their stuff

I know it's gonna cost you some money but your better off bringing it to someone who's qualified and can also make this headache go away.I hope everything works out right for you Dude.
