I would suggest maybe a 350 warrior.
If your a hunter you can drag a deer or something out of the woods.
it looks sporty and has a good get-go, the bad thing is it turns wide
Now a banshee, if you ruin anything engine-wise your gonna be buying 2 of everything so it is not a good first time user quad, beside the fact that they are wheely kings.
Now my first big quad is an '88 Lt250QR made by suzuki. and it leaves burnouts and wheelies in the dust...
A mojave is a great starter quad also.
My true suggestion for you by what you would like to do is get a Mojave or a Warrior. But my biased opinion on the QR also helps me choose that

I would say a banshee as is would not be a good choice for trails or mud bogs, I own a banshee and do a lot of trail riding myself but i also have a lot of work done to her, a stock banshee does not like to go slow for long they plug up easy also they are not set up very well suspension wise. I have a blaster and it is great on trails and has nice bottom end power for the tight stuff also gets way better fuel milage,

My friend has a blue 250 Blaster I'm not sure what year it is but he trail rides a lot with it.He recently blew out his engine and it cost him a lot $$$ to buy an engine & parts for it.Banshees are excellent for wheelies & speed and also good on trails but that's it.If you want a quad that can conquer almost anything then you should consider looking at the 250cc older models with reverse cause that's plus on trails.

If your set on a sport quad a polaris outlaw is great for trails because it has irs and it still goes like a bullet, flys and drifts excellent, however, you better have a buddy with a good winch because it is not made to go across a mud hole. If you want to go across mud get something with 4WD
