I want to cut the back fenders of my 250ex so I can get that sharp look to it.I have all of the tools to do the job. Has anybody done this yet to their quads? I just want the body to look unique not like every other 2001 250ex.Should I do this or just leave it alone? lol I probably won't leave it since I'm a girl:D .Please any advice would be helpful, Thanks!

My vote is go for it. I say this because it is what I would do to. If I get an idea in my head then there is just about no stopping me; probley why my outlaw sees so much shed time. I don't know what your planning but if it was me doing it I would leave the part that protects the back of your legs alone but when as they run parallel with the ground I would point them into the seat at the very back. We are going to want some pics should you go ahead and do it.

Hey, it's my man Demon rider! Well you know me.... I'm not gonna leave it alone until I accomplish my goal with shaping these fenders out.I want to cut my fenders a little thinner and make the corners of the fenders pointed and sharp.I'm trying to get rid of that rounded bubble look cause I never liked that look from day one when got the 250ex.As soon as I'm done fabricating it I'll post some pics and give you the site where you can see it cause my pics are to big for quad forums.

The fenders are cut off and ready to get sanded down now.Their really starting to look good with the fenders cut.The saw that I used to cut the fenders was a (Ryobi saw) and I gotta say! that this saw did pretty good job:) .I also took those ugly foot wells out and left them out because I was never happy with them anyway.By the way, your an early bird, Man! 5:30 in morning what the heck! Just teasing:p ya, lol

I bet they are starting to look good. seems you got a few projects on the go these days between this and the suzuki. Hope the YFZ is treating you good because at this rate all your rides are going to be in the shed being worked on.

Busy ain't the word it's more like overwhelmed! Still working on the Raptorboy's LTZ-250 cause it's still on the lift in the my garage here at home. All the other quads are in the shed prepped up for the next racing season. The YFZ is fine as a matter of fact I think I might be racing for Yamaha next year cause they offered me a sponsorship but I'm still debating on it.Reasons why? because I hurt my shoulder pretty bad in one of the races and now I need surgery cause I tore some tissue & muscle and my shoulder bone is slightly out of place, sucks huh! I'm still riding with my shoulder all messed up with the EVES shoulder brace and still planning to go trail riding through the winter. With all that...I will keep on riding!
