Where would I look for the Vin number

Gentlemen: Recently I acquired a Yamaha 350 4x4. And thats all I know about it. It is blue and does have a radiator on it. It didnt run when we got it but my husband tinkered on it until now it runs. But the people we got it from had it and knew nothing about it and the original owners are no longer with us. Where would I find a vin number or SOMETHING that I could find out what machine I have. I am at a loss as to how to get parts cause I have no idea what year this is or anything except that its a Yamaha 350 4x4. Does anyone out there no how I can trace this machine down as to what it is, so I can get parts for it. Wanted a front rack and odometer. Thanks, Barb

Check the lower frame rails by the engine (if ur sitting on the quad, on ur left) Or check the front frame rails.

I found the vin and if I got it right it is; JY4241R00 H0075963. Now besides knowing it is a 350 4x4 that is blue with a radiator, would by chance anyone be able to look at this vin number and tell me what year this quad would be. They have names such as big bear and grizzly. I think grizzly name is too new, but what do I know. Thanks for any help. I live in a remote area and there is not any Yamaha dealers around. Barb:(
