First of all whats your problem or symptoms. Next have you proven that you are getting spark because that's the next easiest test. Also you need air but chances are that's not your problem. So assuming you got compression you may in fact have a problem with your fuel system. A simple test you could do is unhook a bit of your fuel line and hit the start button or pull or kick whatever. If you get gas out of that fuel line then everything before it is ok and the opposite is also true. No gas=problem. Nothing really scientific but give it a try. Get back on any updates.

from another post

My quad stopped running ... it will start and run for about 5 seconds then quit .... will not restart for an hour or so ... I have just learned it is a vacuum fuel system with a fuel pump ... i have pulled the fuel line and gas only flows in the prime position ... no flow at on or reserve ... the trouble shooting guide suggests it might be the pump ... I also believe it cannot be rebuit ... I also took the petcock off, and disassembled it to check for clogs ... the diaphram inside looked pretty bad ... does anyone know if there is a rebuild set for it, or am I stuck with buying another
Thanks in advance for any help!

starts with either ... new plug, strong spark ... new air filter, good air ... pulled line to carb, and cranked engine ... no fuel ... narrowed it down to the fuel petcock diaphram or vacuum fuel pump diaphram ... how can I eliminate one or the other ... i dont want to buy both (~$70 ea) ... probably should check both vacuum lines (pump and petcock) .... any other advice??? ....BTW ... Thanks for the info

lol. Well anyone can spend money to fix a problem;) Takes an engineer to tip toe around the problem and try to find some frugal way of solving a problem.
