Hello my names Frank and I have a 1999 LT160. I wanted some suggestions on exhaust. I haven't decided what I want to do with this bike, but I definetely wouldn't mind a nice sounding exhaust. I looked around and only found silencers so any suggestions or links would be great. Also if you have the bike, what were your results like with a pipe. Just louder, nice sound?, performance gains? Thanks in advance,
Frank

I got a few sites for you to check out(Motocrossgiant.com,Rockymountainatv.com,Bikeba ndit.com and motoworldracing.com).Amazon.com has a Dyno jet kit for your 1999 LT160 if your gonna put an exhaust might as well put a jet kit it adds a lot more horse power ;) .

Thanks, I'm gonna get take a look at these websites. My main concern is my acceleration. Top speed isn't as big of a deal. Around stock I am like 40...45 with a tail wind but my accell is attrocious. So, hopefully the jet kit will help me out there?

A new exhaust is fine but when you combine it with a jet kit it makes a big difference trust me I know I've done it with all my bikes.I hope the sites I gave you workout for you.

Maybe im retarded, but on all the sites I can't find anything for exhaust. The closest I found was a silencer? Any direct links would help!

Did you try? rockymountainatv.com because they have parts for your bike.If they don't have what you want then try Denniskirk.com they also have a lot of atv parts.I'm really sorry that your having a hard time finding the exhaust that you want.Check every site I give cause one of them got to have the exhaust.

I know your looking for an exhaust setup but I would like to point you toward air filters. They are one of the cheapest mods you can do and it gives you a lot. I put a K&N air filter on my outlaw. It improved my acceleration and increased top speed by a fair bit also.
