Need some advice!!

I have a 440ex 11:1 comp w/t a 42 pilot and 150 main w/t a dial a jet set on the leanest setting and it's still running rich and I just need some advice on what you think I should do bout it. Thanks!

Had a few buddies w. the dial a jet..never had any luck. what exhuast are you running?

I have a cobra exhaust stage 2 cam and stock air filter. I'm getting a little lint smoke when I rev it up but I didn't change the clip on the needle. I'm getting a power increase from the mods but I think there is some more there. Every body I read about are putting a main jet alot Bigger than mine but I see it running to rich for a 165 main and I had a guy go through my carb when he put the bore kit and there was nothing wrong so he says thanks for the replys I need all the help I can get!!

Try a bigger main.. Get a uni or sparks filter. Stocks are junk. Dual stage is the way to go.
Never heard of a cobra exhaust...

Thanks for the info I will def try that with the new filter and c how it goes. Come on u never heard of cobra exhaust!! It's not the best pipe but it does the job and it's very loud! Loud pipes saves lives!!

haha ah never heard of it, should have just gutted the stock pipe w. hrc endcap. would have did the same justice. but try that.. if u have the $ get a new pipe.. duncan makes a sweet pipe the 400ex. what kit u got in it?

I bought a kit on eBay that had a new cylinder that was bored with a new sleve and a Wiseco piston and 11:1 comp but I think I'm going to do A little port and polish and slave alittle off and get alittle more comp. I'm getting a few more main jets to try and I'm going to move the clip on the needle to see how that goes. I'm going to try and find that Duncan pipe and do u think that running straight 93 super unleaded is ok it's running not bad right now with it. Thanks again.

I think FRESH 93 is great.. Look at the Sparks pipe aswell they make some serious power.

I got some more main jets a 155 and a 160 I put the 155 in and road around for alittle while it runs good but a kid on a 80 dirt bike beat me. I only weight 150 I still think there is some there I just have to find that magic combo I also bought a 40 piolt jet to c if that will help any. The 93 octaine is running great but I still have to get another filter and pipe to try and unleash some more ponys any more info would be great. Thanks.

We were racing on the black top and I had to let off cause my front tires were coming up to high but he stayed right in front me and didn't leave me. We raced again at a rolling start and he jumped before me but he didn't leave me but also I think he's got something done to it so I guess I don't feel as bad. And yea they r fast
