whenever I wash my bike in the summer, water seems to make its one into the throttle cable, now in the winter, i have a big problem with a frozen throttle when i go to use my bike. i took the cable out of the lever, and sprayed lubricent down the cable, but this didnt seem to make it stop from freezing. If i use a blow dryer and point it directly at the carb, it thaws the cable out, so i guess that is where the water is trapped. I was wondering if any of you guys would have any suggestions, I was thinking that taking the cable right out of the carb -along with the slide- would help?

Try getting a new cable. Seems you have a few carb issues by your prior post. A nice cleaning with some Gum-out carb cleaner will be fine too. Try getting a cover hose for the whole cable, I remember on my old zuk that the cover hose was only for the areas that rubbed. Shrink electrical wrap will work also, need a heatgun for that though. Good luck w. the Z.
