Im from Suffolk to be exact. I have 7 acres of flatland to play on and several trails to find and tear up. I am new to quads but I know how to operate one. Im in the market for a quad right now and am looking at a 2004 TRX400 EX but many say its not to good for anything but going fast in a straight line. I need something that can handle good and go where I want and not complain. Any help?

Sorry about that, usually the ppl on this forum like to chat but for the past week no one has been around.I guess the holidays are coming around & everyone is busy.Oh, I forgot hunting season is here! You said you were interested in buying an 04-trex400? Honda's are strong n live up to there name. I own an 01-250ex & my baby has never failed me yet.As long as you keep her happy maintenance wise she'll keep you happy by starting every time no matter what kind of weather it is outside. It's a nice quad but it's a little heavy & also fast.I have couple of friends who have the 400ex & they love it.If your gonna go trail riding or just riding around on your farm then I don't see a problem why you shouldn't get it.I have an 08-YFZ450 & I own 20 acres of flat land but added a couple of mounds to jump just for practice & the yfz450 is very light & makes it easy for me to do jumps & it's fast n powerful.I say, try out the trex400ex if you like it & it feel comfortable then go for it.
