As i have stated before, my '02 250 Bear Tracker needs the choke pulled out just a hair, or else it will hesitate under the slightest of load. I can run it with the choke out continuously and it does not load up, and runs flawlessly. The minute i put the choke completely off, and put the wheeler under any load, it hesitates and acts like its starving for fuel. My brother does small engine repair, and i want to get the right carb rebuild kit for it, and have him rebuild the carb. Is there any special info the Yamaha dealer will need (VIN,Model #,etc.)? I see 2 different listings. A YF250 '01-'04 & a YFM250X which says years '99-'04. How do i tell which one mine is? Does anyone on here know the exact p/n through Yamaha? Any info will be greatly appreciated, Thanx, Jim
