I have had a stock 2004 Honda 400EX for two years. So far I have put on a full skid plate from moose racing, Nerf bars from DG, and Renthal handle bars. I just got a big gun exhaust that I am ready to put on. I am wondering what would be the next thing to do for more HP. Do you think the stage two rev box would be good on the stock motor or should I upgrade to the 440 bore kit first?

Do the big bore & a little porting. Watch how much compression you go if you don't want to have to feed it race gas. Keep the stock rev limit for now to add engine life. Ray.
