Need help on deciding which quad to get

ok so im new to the atv scene guys figured i would hit a few forums a post a thread to ask which sport quad u guys would recommend i want sumthing fast and powerful i am 15 years old... im 6ft 1 and prolly about 270... i have had sumone tell me to find a used raptor 700 and get it... wouldnt that be way to much power for sumone just starting out???

If your gonna get a knew quad try something that your comfortable with.I race yfz450 and man, this yfz450 is powerful already the way it is.I think the Raptor 700 is perfect for you.Remember atv's & dirt bikes go by cc's to pull the riders weight around.Keep this in mind always get something that your going to be comfortable with not something that's gonna scare the hell out of you.;)

ok i have my mind pretty much made up its between 6 quads now i have to find whitch one is more comfortable
1. yfz450
2.ltr 450
3. trx450
4. 400ex
5. Z400
6. Raptor 660 or 700

If you need help on choosing I can help. Hey, I have yfz450 and that quad is powerful the way it is already.The good thing about the yfz450 is that it comes race ready.And if you want that extra boost get an exhaust for it, it's worth it.The Trx400ex is also an excellent choice but it's up to you and what your comfortable with.Raptors are also a good choice.;)

another problem i have run into would be neither of my parents credit is good which makes financeing a new atv nearly impossible.... back to looking for used quads it is

Hey, there's nothing wrong with that at all. If your gonna get a used quad take your time looking, don't rush it because you might end up with a piece of garbage and trust me you don't want to do that.Make sure that you can give half the money to the person and test it for a few days so that there is nothing wrong with it.Also, MINT CONDITION don't always mean MINT CONDITION!:D

found sum z400's for good prices

Did you check em out? Make sure they are in good condition.How much? remember you don't want to pay too much for something that's used.The z400 is good but for a big guy like you, you need a 700 but if you can go that far money wise then I say go for it.;)
