engine query

hi im new on here
i have recently purchased a quad it is a yamaha 200cc
it has a brand new engine in but it does not rev fully it does not go to its full potential any help would be greatly appreciated

I had the same problem with my suzuki. It is probably your needle, it may need to be adjusted one click up. possibly your main jet but start with the needle. check your spark plug to make sure you are not running lean:)
