Hi, I'm new to the forum. I bought a 1985 lt230 the other day. It has many upgrades. It is bored, jetted, aftermarket crankshaft and camshaft. It also has a dg pipe on it. Anyways, I've been have a problem getting it to idle right. One minute it idles perfect, then the next minute it revs way up on it's own. I drive it around for a bit then the idle goes back down to normal. I cleaned the carb a couple times, it didn't help at all. I noticed my needle in my carb is a little bent on the end. Could this be making it idle weird? Other than the idle problems, it runs and drives great.
