i have a lt80 with 155 psi comp. cylinder fills with fuel. after i get it running you have to pull the choke up and down to keep going. then it finally quits. are the 25$ aftermarket fuel valves on ebay ok to use.do you think this will solve my problem? thanks

Before you go and spend money, are you sure that your carb is clean and set up correctly? I just noticed you said the cylinder fills with fuel, like how much and when does it do that?

Fuel is leaking by the float needle and filling the carb and motor with fuel.
Clean the carb well. Remove both jets and the needle and seat.
To eliminate this problem, get a simple on/off valve at the autozone in the lawn mower section. We could talk all day on why, but that's the fix on that.
FYI: the petcock lever should point down.

Running:: remove the spark plug, place a rag over the hole and spin the motor till fuel stops comming out. Replace plug and hold the throttle wide open till it cleans out and starts.

Without a better explaination on where that hose is comming from, I'm guessing it's a vent hose.
