Hi, I have a 2004 Twin Peaks 700 and I can't seem to keep a belt on it. Any ideas?

Hi, check your one way bearing under your clutch pack, (rear pulley on bike) check that both your sheaves are moving as they should ie; parallel to each other, check the little rollers and plastic runners unde the cover on the front sheave (nearest front of bike), sounds like you've got too much play somewhere and its not gripping the belt as it should, thus cooking it, and the belts aint cheap.... let me know what you find, any probs pm' me.
