My New Quad

I recently bought my first quad. A 2002 Honda 400EX. All stock from what I can tell. I just ordered a full set of skid plates for it (trails here in NH are very rocky) and I was wondering what the best performance mod would be for the quad? exhaust? if I do that I have to re-jet the carb? This is all new to me so please bare with me.

Pipe, re-jet & good air filter are best first mods. Also, go 1 tooth smaller on the front sprocket to improve bottom end drivability. Ray.

I bought my first quad in this past summer.. its a 2002 Honda 400ex also!
I got mine for $2400 bucks, it was a little beat up but runs real good.

I replaced the rear tires with ITP Holdeshot HD tires and they are awesome!
I also put some TAG handle bars on it and replaced the front brakes and put a six pack rack on the back of it.
Its a great quad.. I will probably own it for ever.
